This rain really cramps my style!
It has been raining all. day. long! I tried to be a patient kitty, just watching the raindrops incessantly falling from my perch on top of the Can Opener’s desk- but after counting over 156,700,439 (and a half) raindrops, I finally gave up and decided to pick a “fight” with the Can Opener’s toes. Unfortunately, she never sits still long enough for that to be effective, so I have to look for another victim…. and here she is- all cozy on the couch, covered up with the Can Opener’s robe…
So, like any other cat in its right (bored) mind, I crept up to the couch, right up to the spot where Sushi’s tail was hanging (uncovered) over the edge of the couch, and gave her a quick, SWAT! (FOUR times in rapid succession).
Unfortunately, neither Sushi or the Can Opener had a sense of humor about it, and Sushi got mad and actually MOVED! Wow. Never thought I’d see that happen.
So finally, (probably just to save my life)- the Can Opener finally stopped messing around in the kitchen, got her 13th cup of coffee, and that dang phone of hers, and sat down and played with me in the rug.
It went something like this… (with Sushi glaring at me for daring to wake her up)….
After I went psycho for twenty minutes (Mom said I made Sheba look sweet and calm)- I was finally tired enough to eat a boatload of fancy feast and half a bag of treats. But again, the Human spoiled my day by saying “no- you don’t need that many treats.” I said I did. She said I didn’t.
I think we argued. She won, this time. But not for long…
How to Train your Humans 
At least we had a mostly dry day here, with a few showings of the sun…but its still cold and very windy. I went for a walk, with earmuffs, winter coat and gloves! walked 1 1/2 hours on the country roads to get my dose of fresh air…saw deer, cranes, geese, bunnies (Left over helpers from Easter?? LOL!), some dogs, and one kitty watching over the view from is/her front door.

Oh rain has a way of spoiling a cat’s plans, that’s for sure. Unfortunately, the Can Opener loves rain. *Why me?* Thank you for the compliment- like turquoise and pink- it sets off my eyes!! Play sounds GREAT!! 🐈⬛

Due you have the cute plastick golfballss Twilight? They have littel holess inn them an are furabuluss to chase an grab an carry….Maybee Missus Cee-O cuud get a few from Sport store! Much nicer to play with than a hard golf ball 😉

I have one of those little plastic ones- but I also have three of the hard ones! I like those the best. When my human is cooking and ignoring my requests to play, I swat one right at her ankle and it gets her attention! 😹

😹Well it works! As soon as that hard golf ball hits her ankle, the spatula goes flying to the ceiling and she forgets all about cooking!

Why thank you! The Can Opener is so busy and her schedule is all over the place right now- but she loves to play with us- and she’s trying to get Sushi to play more often too

I didn’t have much of a choice. This is Oregon- my crazy Can Opener loves the rain. I think the grief has done something to her! *shakes head*
